Our Story

Debbie Pucinischi and Iain Bryers from Sunnd Olistico in Whyalla

Sunnd Olistico was founded by Debbie Pucinischi and Iain Bryers, who each bring their expertise in complementary modalities to provide clients with personalised support.

Our name fuses the Scottish Gaelic "sunnd," meaning good health and the Italian "olistico", for holistic, reflecting Iain and Debbie's diverse cultural backgrounds and broad approach.

Our Approach

We believe that achieving true wellbeing allows you to live your life to the fullest and enjoy everything that makes you happy without being held back by physical or mental limitations.

And we don't tell - we listen. We meet you where you are to help you move forward in a way that fits your lifestyle and goals. Whether you're recovering from injury, preparing for surgery, dealing with pain, looking to improve fitness or mobility, or simply addressing the challenges of aging, we provide flexible, understanding support.

We believe in a comprehensive approach to treatment that goes beyond managing symptoms. By thoughtfully addressing each person’s physical, emotional, and social needs, we craft tailored plans that target the root causes of health issues. Our mission is to empower individuals to reach their best health and overall wellbeing through this holistic perspective.

Deb - The Movement Gal

Debbie Pucinischi from Sunnd Olistico in Whyalla

Debbie began her teaching and coaching career as a teenager when she became heavily involved with a local Karate club. This sparked a lifelong passion for learning and teaching, which led her to study education at university.

She has since utilised these skills in every job she has held, including roles in recruitment, travel advising, training, mindset coaching, and personal fitness training.

Debbie's lifelong curiosity drives her to continually explore new modalities, including movement restoration, safe return to exercise for Mums, mindset and beliefs, and the effects of perimenopause on women's bodies. Her intuition helps her navigate the transitions women over 50 experience. She is passionate about guiding them towards rediscovering movement and feeling comfortable in their changing bodies.

Debbie is constantly expanding her knowledge and is deeply inquisitive. Down to earth and non-judgmental, her understanding reflects her life stage, and she enjoys using her skills to help others navigate life's transitions.

Iain - The Massage Guy

Iain Bryers from Sunnd Olistico in Whyalla

Iain's interest in massage began years ago on the sports field, where he often experienced muscle soreness and stiffness. He discovered that massage therapy was an effective way to relieve pain and speed up his recovery process, allowing him to get back to his training routine in no time.

Later on in life, driving trucks was taking a physical and mental toll, and an on-the-job shoulder injury wasn't healing. Dreading getting back behind the wheel, he began to think about alternative solutions. Embarking on a family adventure to Darwin, Iain realised he had an opportunity to follow a new path and began studying remedial massage.

While learning about the body and practising with classmates, Iain had a lightbulb moment: he realised his shoulder issue had been misdiagnosed, and eventually healed the two-year-old injury using techniques he had learned through his studies.

Iain finds purpose in easing discomfort and improving people's mobility. He enjoys seeing them walk confidently and be pain-free. In his experience, he understands that while we all live busy lives, we often don't prioritise self-care. And we don't have to live with pain.
