Personal Fitness Assessment

It sounds scary.

But it doesn’t have to be.

Understanding your movement and functional ability is essential before any exercise is undertaken.

I hear too many stories of people training without guidance, risking injury and the exact opposite of their intentions by exercising without understanding their muscle imbalances and inadequate movement patterns.

This can be very common in post-natal women who return to exercise, assuming their bodies will be the same as before pregnancy.

Taking the time to discuss your experience and abilities will provide you with the knowledge to embark on a training plan, knowing you are less likely to injure yourself and more likely to reach your desired health goals.

What does a Personal Fitness Assessment involve?

This is a 45-minute session in which we will identify your movement goals and allow me time to understand your strengths and challenges. There's no judgment here; it's just a collaborative and supportive chat about your health, movement, and fitness goals.

How do I put it into action?

Together we will:

  • Establish where you currently are in relation to your goals.

  • Complete a fitness appraisal which includes:

  • Functional assessment
